WOLVERINE!Why Does The News Media Suck?

*DISCLAIMER* You'll find that I don't preferred one news source over the other. They all suck and they are more biased than a Madeleine Vionnet outfit. (please look up Madeleine Vionnet because thats a damn funny joke) but today I'm going to be picking on Fox News. Or as the Liberals on Digg (all Digg users?) call it, Faux News.
Now they aren't any better than anyone else. Just as bad as CNN, just as bad as MSNBC and much much worse than the Daily Show. I just saw a really bad segment and it brought back memories.
Shepard Smith was talking about this new way of stealing credit card information. Basically 3 years behind the times. ATM skimmers aren't new, hell I remember a 60 Minutes pieces on the things when I was still in MIddle School. They had their information wrong talking about how its this huge widespread problem. And of course it was tucked in between two segments about Pakistans army fighting terrorists and one about the economy stinking. It was designed to get you scared about the middle east, and then scared about your money.
It reminded me of the time one of Fox's shows had a segment on Mature Video games, or more specifically Mass Effect. Now lets not get into the argument on this game, but they claimed the game had full blown nudity and full blown interactive alien bondage sex. They had Geoff Keighley on (a very well respected video game journalist) and he defended the game very well. Told them that they were wrong and had no idea what they were talking about. He asked them to play the game then make judgement on it because there wasnt any full blown naked space ass. The host literally said, and I quote "I will not play it, dont you realize it has nudity in it and you play a sex scene?". They had a Psychiatrist on the show talking about how bad this kind of stuff could be for children. I agree, too much violence and too much nudity will turn your kids into a bunch of gun toting, sex craved hooligans. (I guess this explains the south. OH SNAP!) [I appologize to people in the south. This joke is just that a joke, please do not drive your Bogging trucks up to my house and shoot me with a twelve gauge]. So it turns out this Psychiatrist is actually not accredited, she is a self appointed Psychiatrist. No degree. No diploma. Nothing to say she is better at telling someone what a person is thinking or how they are thinking than me. Hell I could have done a better job than this chick because I knew my material.
Its just depressing. They dont do research or anything. And the common house wife sees these things about credit card skimmers and video games and doesnt want to leave her house.
So what do you think? Has anyone else had issues with Fox News? (lets not get too political here, I dont want a "They love Bush and hate Obama" arguement, purely news.) How about CNN, or any other news outlett. I want you're input people!
