Internet Explorer. Web browser of the Techno ignoramuses. The people who go and buy that fancy new E-Machine's PC and plug it into the internet so they can get to the Google and talk to their collective nieces and nephews in Claremont.
But, according to Amy Bazdukas (GM of Microsoft) IE6 needs to die and friends don't let friends use it! Accord to web analytics IE6 counts for approx. 40% of the market share for web browsers. Forty percent of people on the internet that use web browsers are in danger of malware attacks.
Folks out there, to exist in our Neoteric world we have to protect ourselves from ourselves. If you are reading this and you are NOT using a modern Internet Explorer release or something much more secure, leave now. You are not my demographic for readers.
Homework now children! I want each one of you that reads this today, to go to someone you love, someone you know and help them! Update their Internet Explorer on their computers and install Firefox or chrome. Lets help make this world a better place, one insecure browser at a time.
